The VS-44DT is a 4x4 matrix switcher for up to 4K/60 (at YUV 4:2:0) HDMI with enhanced EDID; HDCP support. The unit has 4 HDMI inputs with bidirectional IR connectors (8 x miniJack 3.5 mm), two HDMI outputs and 4 HDBaseT outputs with PoE to a twisted pair (the first 2 outputs duplicate similar HDMI outputs). Transmission range for 1080p: up to 180 m, 4K/30: up to 100 m. There is a possibility of group control of connected devices via bidirectional IR connectors (2x miniJack 3.5 mm). The switcher has a stereo audio deembedder with a 3.5mm miniJack output. The unit is controlled with the front panel buttons, using the IR remote control, as well as via Protocol 3000 through the RS-232 and Ethernet ports; there is a built-in web interface.
