The KDS-DEC5 is a decoder and receiver of H.264, MPEG-4 stream transmitted over Ethernet 10/100/1000BaseT with PoE for signals with a resolution of up to UHD 4K60 (4:2:0) with HDCP 2.2. It receives video and audio streams, RS-232 control signals from the KDS-EN5 encoder, and then supplies signals to the HDMI output, audio stereo output and RS-232 port, respectively.
