FBX1210i Feedback Exterminator, Black, 1 Channel, Rack Mount

FBX feedback exterminators have set a standard for sound transparency and high reliability in automatic detection and removal of feedback. The power of FBX models with their SMART filters lies in the ability to identify and eliminate feedback in the current program material with the help of automatically placed filters, without affecting the sound quality and sound level. The market-leading digital signal processor uses the SMARTFilter algorithm, which gives the FBX1210 a significant speed advantage over any other feedback elimination solution. The time required for commissioning has also been optimized: With the FBX you are ready in less than 30 seconds. The 24-bit FBX models are constantly searching for feedback in the payload and placing the necessary filters virtually instantaneously (in 0.4 seconds at 1 kHz).The FBX models have always been characterized by their precision, which has been further improved by the use of SMARTFilter technology. The FBX uses a patented analysis method that recognizes overtones in the useful signal. While feedbacks have hardly any overtones, the overtone content in music and speech is very pronounced. Accordingly, the FBX can make a precise distinction between feedback and music. You have full control when mixing different filter types. At the same time, the bright, three-color LEDs always show the status of the filters and are also recognizable from a greater distance. Many feedback elimination devices place their filters only near their respective feedback and subsequently propagate the filter until the disturbance is eliminated. In contrast, the FBX uses a more advanced method, in which the filters are placed exactly at the frequencies of the feedbacks. The unique 1 Hz resolution allows the FBX to provide feedback control with transparent filters that are 10 times narrower than typical graphic equalizers. Feedbacks are single tones that can occur in nearly 20,000 different frequency bands in the audio spectrum. Sabine's innovative approach to digital audio filtering is unique in the marketplace and offers significantly less phase distortion and linear frequency response than the competition. Sabine's filters operate with constant quality (Constant Q) at every stroke with full sound integrity.
