New Arrival from Cyp — CSC-6030CVE Scaler

Let’s take a look at the latest Cypress Technology scaler — CSC-6030CVE. We’ve decided to dedicate a separate article to it, and here’s why:

Firstly, this scaler is multi-format, it has five HDMI-A video inputs as well as DisplayPort, VGA and USB-C inputs, signals from which are sent to the parallel HDMI and HDBaseT outputs. That’s not counting six stereo audio inputs, one mic and one IR input, which also play their part.

Secondly, CSC-6030CVE supports PoH (Power over HDBaseT), providing power to the compatible CH-1527RX receiver located up to 100 m away. Thirdly, it has a built-in 2×20W (4 Ohm) power amplifier and an audio mixer that allows you to mix audio signals from the analog audio inputs with a signal coming from the microphone input.

In general, we have a fairly modern device with broad functionality and a serious level of technical equipment. 4K, 50/60 Hz (4:4:4, 8-bit) and 4K sources with Deep Color and HDR (10/12-bit) are automatically converted to 4K, 60 Hz (4:2:0, 8-bit) or 4K, 30 Hz (4:4:4, 8-bit). The bandwidth is 600 MHz. Pass-through is available for LPCM 2.0/5.1/7.1 and HD Bitstream audio formats. The device is controlled via IP.
