A new series of active hub adapters from Kramer Electronics will allow you to connect your laptop, smartphone or tablet equipped with a USB-C port to devices with HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA and Ethernet ports.
We are happy to introduce a new line of KDock active hub multiport adapters consisting of 4 models. Each of them can become your irreplaceable assistant in various life situations that require connecting a laptop, smartphone or tablet to displays, peripherals and network ports.
USB-C ports are becoming increasingly popular in modern personal devices. For example, MacBook uses USB-C as its sole port for charging, outputting video and connecting peripherals. That’s why KDock adapters are equipped with built-in flexible USB-C cable for connecting to a host device and various interfaces for connecting peripherals.
The entry-level KDock-1 is equipped with a USB-C input, a USB 3.0 type A port, a USB-C charging pass-through port and an HDMI output that supports resolutions up to 4K@30Hz, provided that the USB port of the host device supports video output mode. KDock-2 offers the same set of interfaces plus an Ethernet port and an SD memory card slot.
The main feature of KDock-3 is that in addition to HDMI it also supports DisplayPort signals (up to 4K@30Hz). Next comes the flagship device of the series - KDock-4. It has the widest range of interfaces, allowing you to connect HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, USB 2.0 and Ethernet devices (one of each type), two USB 3.0 Type A devices, an SD card, a Micro SD card and an audio device (via 3.5 mm mini-jack).
This adapter also allows you to put a laptop or tablet on top — the device won`t slide off thanks to the rubber strip on the cover. There is also a convenient foldable smartphone holder in case a mobile device is used as a USB host.
