SWT3-31-HU-TR — a long-awaited addition to the SWT3 series
Meet the SWT3-31-HU-TR auto switcher-extender, the “missing link” between HDMI and USB switchers.
The latest 3x1 4K60 HDMI/USB-C SWT3-31-HU-TR automatic switcher-extender is a truly remarkable addition to the previously released SWT3 series devices. This solution (previously used in the KIT-500 kit) is equipped with USB-C and two HDMI/USB-B dual inputs, it allows you to fully switch separate host computers to a remote common HDMI display or projector.
Of course, such switching requires additional USB ports. The SWT3-31-HU-TR has quite a few of them — as many as three USB-A ports for connecting various peripherals, such as keyboard, mouse, DSP, PTZ-camera, etc.
The switch's third input is designed for connecting personal USB-C devices, supporting 4K60 video transmission and fast charging up to 60W, which is especially useful for BYOD meetings.
SWT3-31-HU-TR is more than just a switcher — it is capable of extension of 4K60Hz (4:4:4) HDMI, USB 2.0, Ethernet, RS−232, IR and power signals over up to 100 m HDBaseT 3.0 twisted pair link.
The device offers a wide range of control options. First of all, it has an Ethernet port supporting 802.1x authentication standard and PoE power. There is also an RS-232 port and an IR output for connecting an IR emitter to control devices. A pair of GPIO ports allows you to connect various executive devices, such as input select button.
To complete the introduction of this remarkable device, we would also like to mention its balanced stereo output for connecting an active audio system and a remote on/off button for an HDMI display via the CEC bus.
The conclusion is rather obvious: SWT3-31-HU-TR is a perfect switching core for modern meeting and collaboration spaces. We can only hope that the choice of customers will be equally obvious :)
