Kramer SWT3-31-HU and SWT3-31-HU-TR — Take Bring-You-Device to the next level!

You can solve almost all major installation tasks in your conference space with these versatile devices!

The everlasting trend in ProAV equipment is to make life easier for users. And the latest iteration of this trend is to simplify access to multiple devices (displays, videoconferencing) and allow the user to switch devices between connected computers automatically. The paradox is that the devices themselves become more complex, but the installation as a whole becomes simpler! Both Kramer's products are BYOD friendly and illustrate this principle in the best possible way.

SWT3-31-HU — auto−switcher with one USB−C and two HDMI/USB inputs and HDMI output. There is also a convenient HDMI loop out for connecting a local video monitor. Each of the HDMI inputs is combined with an individual USB-B port, allowing full switching of 2 active host computers to a common HDMI display. There are 3 USB-A ports with charging capabilities for connecting peripherals. The device supports 4K60 (4:4:4) resolution and features a built-in intelligent Control Gateway with Ethernet (PoE), RS-232, IR and 2 GPIO ports. On top of that there are a balanced port for de-embedded audio and a remote display On/Off button.

SWT3-31-HU-TR has all of the same functionality as SWT3-31-HU plus an HDBaseT port with PoE, flexibly set for transmit (output) or receive (input) link, for extension of 4K60 (4:4:4) HDMI, USB, Ethernet, RS−232, IR and power signals over up to 100 m twisted pair cable. Therefore, it`s a great solution for a large conference space.

Both units are completely BYOD enabled. It is recommended to use personal devices supporting DP Alt Mode as video sources connected to the USB-C inputs. These inputs also allow you to connect to USB peripherals and Ethernet and quickly charge user gadgets (up to 60W) — all over a single USB-C cable!

Such a fantastic functionality makes both SWT3-31-HU and SWT3-31-HU-TR a ready basis for installation of a meeting space. Isn't that the perfect addition to the Pro-AV installer's portfolio?
