The Optical Digital Audio with RS-232 Transmitter and Receiver set can send and receive digital audio (S/PDIF) signals over a single run of CAT5e/6 cable up to 300m. It has the added benefit of RS-232 pass-through allowing control of devices and the bi-directional Power over Cable (PoC) function eliminates the need for a second power supply, providing greater flexibility in installations. Supports pass-through of digital audio formats: LPCM 2CH,Dolby Digital (up to 5.1CH), DTS (up to 5.1CH). Supports bi-directional Power over Cable (PoC).
